Jeezy Brings Inspiration to the Top of the Charts while Ciara Falls Hard

What's going on? Are folks just not buying music anymore. Or is Hip Hop and Black Music in general dead? I know a few record labels are just about ready to jump out the window.



Jeezy's latest album "The Inspiration," debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 . His second release with Def Jam sold 352,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.




Ciara's "The Evolution" which debuted at No. 1 last week, fell to No. 11 on sales of 164,000.





Fantasia's self-titled sophomore album debute at No. 19 and No. 3 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums with 133,000 copies.




Tyrese's "Alter Ego" landed at No. 23 and No. 4 Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums on sales of 116,000.



"More Fish, which is Ghostface Killah's latest release, debuted at No. 71 on The Billboard 200.
